Privacy, Anonymity, and Peer Production


We are looking for adult Tor users who post online or contribute to online projects for an interview study.

Research Objectives
We are a team of researchers at the College of Computing and Informatics at Drexel University in Philadelphia who are interested in understanding Tor users posting or creating things online.

Information for Research Subjects
You can participate in this study if you are older than 18 years of age, are able to speak English, and use Tor. If you choose to participate, we expect the interview to take approximately 30-90 minutes of your time.

Remuneration
If you choose, you'll be paid $20 for your help and time as you help us learn more about privacy practices. You will be given the option of Amazon gift cards and Skype credits. If we are able to conduct the interview in person, you may also receive cash. You do not need to accept payment to participate.

How to Volunteer
To participate in this study, please read and submit the consent form and we will continue from there. If you prefer, you can return the pdf version of the consent form to Andrea Forte aforte@drexel.edu and indicate you understand the study and would like to participate in an interview.
