Privacy, Anonymity, and Peer Production


We are looking for adult Wikipedia editors who have thought about protecting their privacy while editing Wikipedia.

Research Objectives
We are a team of researchers at the College of Computing and Informatics at Drexel University in Philadelphia. We are interested in understanding how Wikipedia editors approach privacy by interviewing them. We expect each interview to take approximately 30-90 minutes.

Information for Research Subjects
Eligibility - You can participate in this study if you are older than 18 years of age, are able to speak English, and edit Wikipedia.

Remuneration
If you choose, you'll be paid $20 for your help and time as you help us learn more about privacy practices. You will be given the option of Amazon gift cards and Skype credits. If we are able to conduct the interview in person, you may also receive cash. You do not need to accept payment to participate.
